Lots of things!

I've been busy, both working and a little bit of crafting.

We've been having the workmen in, fixing the subsidence we had, so it's been really difficult to manage anything of late.

Here's what I've managed to do so far:

An ATC for a swap- it's themed and I've never worked to a theme before, so this is new to me.




A lost girl ATC . I am inspired to write a story based on this:




Finally, a little journalling: I wanted to do some drawing but I'm not very good at it, so I gave it a go, and this is the result:

Bits n pieces

So, I haven't dropped off the earth, just been really busy!

I have just bought my first art journal:

I'm going to put this inside too. It's the first time I used gesso (home made) and today I glazed the picture of the woman, to protect it and make it shiny :)




Those sparkles are actually the embossing powder shining, in the rare sunlight :)

ATCs !!!!

So, I have had such a good day in my craft room. I did the gesso thing and then these ATCs . The first one is a near repeat of one I did previously but it didn't turn out the same. The other one is called stormy weather, since the weather is beyond terrible!!!!

Textured page. Using gesso, distress ink and stain.

Well, I've wanted to have a go at this for ages ! This is my first go at using gesso for texture, with inks and stencils. It didn't quite go as planned, but I love it anyway! I hope you like it,

Happy dance!

And so.... My last biopsy was clear! Yayyyyyyy!!! I went away on a little holiday, so I didn't do any crafting (yes I did miss it!)

So I've got pictures of my jollies to show you ! :)

We went to Liverpool and beyond....
